Overview

Archiving a designation or a campaign takes it out of your everyday lists, but it does not delete it. The record and its history are kept, and you can bring it back at any time. This guide shows how to find archived designations and campaigns and how to restore them.

Where to find the lists

  • Designations: go to Settings → Designations.
  • Campaigns: go to Campaigns and open the All Campaigns list.
Both lists hide archived records by default, so an archived designation or campaign will not show up until you change the view.

Show archived records

  1. Open the Designations or Campaigns list.
  2. Click the filter icon on the table.
  3. Search for View and choose it.
  4. Pick one of the three options:
    • All shows active and archived records together.
    • Active shows only records that are not archived.
    • Archived shows only archived records.
Choose Archived to see just the records you have archived.

Restore one or more records

  1. With the View filter set to Archived, tick the checkbox next to each record you want to bring back.
  2. Click Restore in the bar that appears above the table. You can also right-click a single row and choose Restore.
  3. Confirm in the dialog. The dialog includes a toggle for triggering engagements; leave it as it is unless you have a reason to change it.
Once restored, the record returns to your Active list. Note: Restore is only offered while the View filter is set to Archived. If you do not see it, check the filter first. The Archive action is hidden in that same view, since the records are already archived.

Restore a designation from its own page

Open the archived designation from the list. In the actions menu on the designation page, Restore appears in place of Archive.

If you can’t see the Restore option

Archive and Restore depend on your role. To restore designations you need delete access for Designations, and to restore campaigns you need delete access for Campaigns. If the option is missing even with the Archived view selected, ask an administrator to check your role. See Understanding Team Roles & Permissions.
