How to Get Help and Contact WeGive Support

WeGive offers several ways to get help, from self-service resources you can use any time to direct contact with the support team.

Contact the Support Team

Community Slack

The fastest way to get help is through the WeGive community Slack workspace. An AI assistant responds as the first line of support, and requests or bug reports raised in Slack are automatically turned into tracked support tickets — the same way email or in-app chat works. Most questions are best handled here.

In-App Chat

You can also reach WeGive support through the chat widget built into the dashboard. Click the help icon (circle with a question mark) in the top-right corner of the navigation bar to open a chat conversation. Your message goes directly to the WeGive support team and creates a tracked support ticket.

Email

Send an email to [email protected]. This creates a support ticket the same way the other channels do — the team will respond through the same system regardless of which method you use.

Self-Service Resources

AI Assistant

If your organization has the AI Assistant enabled, click the stars icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar (or press ⌘J / Ctrl+J) to open it. The AI Assistant can help you with:
  • Finding and understanding your fundraising data
  • Building filters and reports
  • Navigating dashboard features
  • Answering questions about how WeGive works
The AI Assistant works with your organization’s own data and can provide context-specific answers. For billing, pricing, account changes, or bug reports, it will direct you to the support team.

Documentation (Knowledge Base)

Click your account avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select Documentation to browse the WeGive Knowledge Base. This searchable library of articles covers common questions, how-to guides, and feature explanations.

WeGive Academy

Click your account avatar, then select WeGive Academy to access training content and onboarding guides at academy.wegive.com.

Product Updates

Click your account avatar, then select Product Updates to see the latest release notes and new features at wegive.releasenotes.io.

All Channels Create Tracked Tickets

Whether you reach out through the community Slack, the in-app chat, or email, your request creates a tracked support ticket. The WeGive support team monitors all three channels through the same system, so you will get a response regardless of which one you use.
