When you submit a feature request or enhancement idea to WeGive support, here is what happens next.

Your request is logged to the product backlog

A member of the support team reviews your request and logs it to WeGive’s internal product backlog. This ensures your idea is captured and visible to the product team for consideration.

Your support ticket closes after intake

Once the request is logged, your support ticket is marked as closed. This is a normal part of the process — closing the ticket does not mean your request was declined or ignored. It means the request has been received and moved from the support queue into product review. Support tickets are designed for active troubleshooting. Since a feature request does not have a defined delivery timeline at the point of intake, keeping the ticket open would not provide meaningful status updates. Closing it after intake keeps your support experience focused on items where the team can take immediate action.

What happens after that

Your request is reviewed by the product team alongside other customer feedback. Decisions about whether and when a feature ships are made during product planning, which happens independently of the support process. If you have questions about a feature request you previously submitted, reach out to WeGive support and reference your original request. The team can check on the current status.
