Reporting a Security Vulnerability to WeGive

If you have discovered a security vulnerability in WeGive’s platform, thank you for taking the time to report it responsibly. WeGive takes security seriously and appreciates the work of security researchers who help keep our platform safe.

How to report a vulnerability

To report a security vulnerability, email [email protected] with the subject line “Security Vulnerability Report”. Include as much detail as you can about the vulnerability, including:
  • A description of the issue and its potential impact
  • Steps to reproduce the vulnerability
  • Any supporting evidence (screenshots, proof-of-concept code, logs)

What to expect after reporting

WeGive’s team will review your report and respond as soon as possible. Because security reports are handled by the engineering team on a case-by-case basis, response times may vary depending on the nature and severity of the report. WeGive does not currently operate a formal bug bounty program or offer monetary rewards for vulnerability reports. If this changes in the future, this page will be updated.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to WeGive before disclosing it publicly. This allows WeGive’s engineering team time to investigate and address the issue before it becomes widely known.
