This is the complete record of what’s shipped in WeGive, release by release. Every release gets its own page, broken into New, Changed, Improved, and Fixed — so you can quickly find what matters to you without digging through engineering tickets. This is a plain, complete record rather than a highlight reel — small releases show up exactly as small, and every entry on a release page reflects something that’s actually live in production. Looking for the bigger-picture, narrative version of what’s new? See WeGive’s monthly release notes on our main site. This changelog is the detailed, complete companion to that — every item, every release.

New

Conversion prompt descriptions can now include the supporter’s current gift amount, frequency, and designation as variables, separate from the option’s own configured values. A confusing toggle label was also clarified.

Changed

Behavior that worked one way before this release and works another way now.
Registering guests in bulk previously skipped audit logging, CRM syncing, and custom question answers entirely. These now save correctly, and event and registration pages include a link to view audit history. Worth a look — historical bulk registrations are not backfilled.

Improved

PayPal previously opened approval in a separate window, which could show alongside a separate gift-conversion prompt. Approval now opens in a modal after that prompt, so there’s only one step to confirm.
Connecting a PayPal account now walks you through a guided flow instead of a single inline field, with the environment (sandbox or live) shown automatically based on your organization. Worth a look
Live-option custom question sources can now be configured with up to a 10-second timeout, up from 2 seconds previously, for endpoints that need more time to respond.

Fixed

Events with no saved map coordinates previously showed a blank map and an address link to the wrong location. These now fall back to a text-based address search.
