Filter the Payments Table to Show Only WeGive-Processed (Card and Bank) Payments

The Payments table can show every gift recorded for your organization, not only the ones WeGive charged. If you want a view of just the payments WeGive processed (cards and bank/ACH), filter by payment method.

The quick way: filter by one payment method

  1. Open Payments in your dashboard.
  2. Add the Payment Method filter.
  3. Choose Card, Bank, or Offline.
The quick Payment Method filter is a single choice. You can look at Card payments or Bank payments, but you can’t select both in the same filter.

To see both card and bank payments together

Use an Advanced Filter to exclude Offline instead:
  1. On Payments, open Advanced Filters.
  2. Add the Payment Method Type filter.
  3. Set the comparison to is not and choose Offline.
The table now shows only card and bank payments. You can combine this with any other filter, such as a date range, status, or fund. The View KPIs summary on the Payments table reflects the filters you have applied, so it can total up only WeGive-processed payments.

What “Offline” includes

Offline isn’t limited to checks and cash. It means a gift was recorded in WeGive rather than charged by WeGive. That includes:
  • Gifts you entered manually, such as checks and cash
  • Gifts added through a batch gift import or a donation import file
  • Gifts brought in from a connected CRM
  • PayPal donations that were recorded in WeGive or imported
Because of this, excluding Offline also hides imported and PayPal gifts, not only manually keyed ones. If a gift you expect to see is missing after you exclude Offline, check whether it was recorded or imported rather than processed by WeGive. A PayPal wallet payment that a donor makes through a WeGive checkout is processed by WeGive and shows up under Card, not Offline.
