# Accessing the Old (Legacy) Dashboard

> The old WeGive dashboard is no longer supported. If you need temporary access during your migration to the new admin panel, you can request an access password from WeGive Support.

# Accessing the Old (Legacy) Dashboard

WeGive has a new admin panel at [admin.wegive.com](https://admin.wegive.com). The old dashboard is no longer supported and will no longer receive updates. All customers should use the new admin panel for day-to-day work.

## If You Need Temporary Access to the Old Dashboard

During migration, you may occasionally need to visit the old dashboard for a task that hasn't been fully transitioned to the new admin panel yet. When you try to access the old dashboard, you'll see a migration prompt asking for an access password.

**To get the access password:**

1. Go to the new admin panel at [admin.wegive.com](https://admin.wegive.com).
2. Click the help icon (question mark) in the bottom-right corner.
3. Contact WeGive Support and request the legacy dashboard access password.

Once you enter the password, your browser remembers it so you won't be asked again on future visits from the same browser.

## Important Notes

* **The old dashboard is a temporary bridge, not a long-term option.** It is no longer being maintained or updated. Use it only when you genuinely need something that hasn't moved to the new admin panel yet.
* **The access password is the same for everyone** — it is not tied to your individual account or organization. Your normal login and account permissions still apply separately.
* **Virtual terminal links are not affected.** If you use externally shared payment links (virtual terminal), those continue to work without any access password.
