# Page Views & Embedded Checkout

> Page-view and parent-window notifications that are separate from standard checkout events.

These are separate from the 21 standard checkout events.

| Tealium page view, `utag.view(...)` | SPA route changes send `page_name`, `page_path`; V2 adds `page_language`. The initial tag load supplies the initial page view. Page views do not require the standard-events toggle. |
| GTM page view, `content-view` | Router/plugin page tracking; V2 additionally supplies `page_language`. Common context remains separately readable. This is not a checkout step-change event. |
| Direct GA4 `page_view` in V2 | `page_path`, `page_title`. There is no direct-GA4 donor-sharing mechanism in this contract. |
| Embedded checkout `postMessage`, `type: "donation-complete"` | Parent notification on supported completion paths. Fields: `type`, `transactionId` string/null, `amount` major-unit number, `currency` uppercase string, `frequency` string/null, `campaignId` string/null, `designationId` string/null, `designationName` string/null, `isAnonymous` boolean, `feeCovered` boolean. Sent only when a parent target is supplied and the checkout is embedded. It contains no donor profile, session UUID, correlation reference, or success-status field. Treat it as a completion notification, not a strict settled-payment signal. |
