# Person Account

> Field mapping between WeGive individual supporters and Salesforce Person Accounts

WeGive individual supporters sync to Salesforce Person Accounts: an Account record with an embedded Contact. All fields below are on the Account object; Person Accounts expose Contact fields with a `Person` prefix.

## Identity

If a supporter has no last name, WeGive pushes `Unknown` because `LastName` is required on Person Accounts.

## Billing address

The billing address syncs to the `PersonOther` address fields.

Address mapping rules can also use `country_code` and `country_full` variants when your org's picklists require a specific format.

## Record type and household

| | `RecordTypeId` | create-only | Set to the configured Person Account record type on create. Never changed on update. |
| `household.npc_id` | `ParentId` | ↔ | Links the supporter to a Household Account when one exists. |

## Linkage

| `npc_id` | `Id` | The Account ID, stored on the WeGive supporter. |

On pull, WeGive matches by `npc_id` first, then by `email_1` for supporters created in WeGive before the connection.

## Logins

When a Person Account has an active `AccountContactRelation` whose `Roles` value matches one of the configured **Login contact roles**, WeGive creates a login for that supporter on the related company. See [Integration Nuances](/external/onboarding/npc/integration-nuances#login-provisioning).

## Custom fields

Any mapped field not listed above is stored as a WeGive custom field on the supporter. See [Configuration Options](/external/onboarding/npc/configuration-options#custom-field-mapping).
