Person Account - WeGive Documentation

WeGive individual supporters sync to Salesforce Person Accounts: an Account record with an embedded Contact. All fields below are on the Account object; Person Accounts expose Contact fields with a Person prefix.

Identity

If a supporter has no last name, WeGive pushes Unknown because LastName is required on Person Accounts.

Address mapping rules can also use country_code and country_full variants when your org’s picklists require a specific format.

Record type and household

	`RecordTypeId`	create-only	Set to the configured Person Account record type on create. Never changed on update.
`household.npc_id`	`ParentId`	↔	Links the supporter to a Household Account when one exists.

Linkage

On pull, WeGive matches by npc_id first, then by email_1 for supporters created in WeGive before the connection.

Logins

When a Person Account has an active AccountContactRelation whose Roles value matches one of the configured Login contact roles, WeGive creates a login for that supporter on the related company. See Integration Nuances.

Custom fields

Any mapped field not listed above is stored as a WeGive custom field on the supporter. See Configuration Options.
