Core fields
gl_code and external_id have no default NPC field; map them under Mapping Rules if your org tracks them on GiftDesignation.

Where designations are referenced
When WeGive pushes a transaction or plan whose fund has not yet been synced, it pushes the
GiftDesignation first so the reference resolves. Funds deleted in WeGive are never pushed as designations.
